Relief Materials Needs

As a matter of fact, in the case of natural of this kind anf this scale, it is very difficult to assess the overall needs of the affected people. Specially when so many areas remain out-of-the reach or inaccessible and where there are such difficult terrains and flood levels are so high, one can only make a probable assessment.

According to our preliminary assessment, which we have made with the help of volunteers and after talking and discussing with other rescue workers, presently following relief materials are required Urgently :-  

• Highly Important Need: Syringes are needed to be sent with insulin vials.
• Water filters/purifiers, water purifying tablets
• Medicines
• Baby food
• Tents, tarpaulins
• Ready to eat non-perishable food items
• Solar lanterns/Torch/batteries, candles and matchboxes
• Buckets and mugs
• Clothes and Blankets and woolen materials
